Ramen that Tastes Even Better than it Looks

Ramen is popular even outside of Japan due in part to its mouthwatering portrayal in anime, manga and TV shows. I tried ramen at lots of places in the US, but I was particularly excited to try the real thing here in Japan.
I got to eat at 麺家ダイニングせんばやし which is just a few minutes away from where I'm living. I tried the tonkotsu. It was absolutely delicious and like nothing else I've tried. It put the ramen I tried back in the US to shame! It was both deceptively simplistic and shockingly rich. The flavors were so full and the broth coated the tongue. It tasted like a hug!
Actually, it was so delicious that I went back for dinner two nights in a row! The dominant flavors are garlic, ginger, green onion and, of course, pork. The chashu was deeply marbled and flavorful. This stuff is addictive!
Unfortunately, the kanji on the menu is so highly stylized I don't stand a chance at reading it. Thankfully, the menu has pictures so I can just point! I really want to go back and try some of the other varieties, but I think I'll just end up ordering the tonkotsu again!
