I walked to my hair salon the other day. I was getting frustrated with my hair and I realized that I needed to get it thinned. I never really thought of my hair as being thick. Usually thick hair won't hold curls. I have naturally wavy hair that I love and I guess it's pretty thick! When they cut it, a lot of hair falls to the floor.

I requested the hair dresser to thin it out and layer it. She did a great job, but when she styled my hair after, she made it straight. It's SO weird! My curls spring to life so easily, but I think Japanese hair dressers don't know what to do with it. I leave the salon with straight hair every time.
