It's All Subjective

A lot of my kids are learning very quickly and we're getting to the point where we are starting to have deeper conversations. One day, I was having a conversation with a student and I asked her what her favorite subject was and why. She said math was her favorite subject because it was sometimes like a puzzle. I thought that was a great answer with great reasoning.
She then surprised me by asking me the same question. I haven't been in school for a long time, so I don't remember the last time someone asked me that question. After a while of thinking back on my school days, I told her history was my favorite subject because it was like story time for me, except it all actually happened. Sometimes it takes random unexpected questions like that to help you recall old childhood memories.
