Lately, I’ve been a bit under the weather. I don’t mean that I have been standing under rain clouds or sitting under a gloomy sky. I have, in fact, stayed inside during the recent rain and have been mostly unaffected. However, I have been unfortunate enough to get sick several times in a row. I could just say that I’ve been sick lately, but sometimes it’s more interesting to say things a different way. So, instead of saying I was sick, I can say I was under the weather.
