Debbie Goes To Matsuyama Part 1
This weekend I went to Matsuyama! It was my first time being on a train for so long. It took at least 2 hours to get there, but it was a beautiful train ride. I passed by many small towns and rice fields but I also passed many cities that I'd like to visit one day. Of course when I arrived in Matsuyama I was hungry and a little lost but I stopped in the local 7-Eleven for a quick snack and asked for directions to the onsen. From the train station I hopped onto the street car. It moved so slowly!!! I don't think I've ever been on a street car that slow, but one of the bonuses of being on the street car was that I got to enjoy the view of Matsuyama. We passed by parks and Ehime University and a lovely Art Museum that I will have to visit the next time I'm in Matsuyama. After 30 minutes the streetcar finally arrived at the dogo onsen stop. There were lots of people milling around at the entrance of a shotengai and at first I didn't know what to do or where to go, but I noticed a little map at the entrance so I wandered towards it. To be continued...
