Getting Back Into Artwork
Hello everyone!
My whole life, I have done artwork. While I started with tradional art, by the time I was in high school, I had discovered digital art using painting programs and pen tablet devices. I spent my entire teens and early 20s creating piece after piece; It was a wonderful hobby of mine. However, as college became more of a priority to me, my time spent on artwork slipped more and more until it became stagnant.
Recectly, I decided I wanted to get back into it, and oh how I have a lot to catch up on. While I still have my trusty laptop and pen tablet, it seems that direct tablet artwork is the new and upcoming form of artwork. With my iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, I am more than equipped for this new digital artwork method; however, I feel like I have to learn all over again; I'm not used to drawing directly onto screens.
I spent most of last weekend learning new techniques, and I'm proud to say that my skills haven't diminished. I still have a long way to go though and a lot more practicing to do. I'm really happy that I'm getting back into this hobby because I forgot how relaxed and wonderful it made me feel. Maybe I'll share my artwork sometime in future blog posts if I'm feeling confident enough. Wish me luck!
