Movies
I love movies. I always have.
Some of my earliest memories are of going to the movie theatre. I remember seeing the last re-release of "Cinderella" in 1987. I was 5, and I remember being worried that it might be a girl movie. I saw the original "Iron Eagle" in the theatre (I loved airplanes as a kid, so with "Top Gun" in the VCR 24/7, Iron eagle was a no brainer for my parents), and Jurassic park several times.

Not much has changed. for a while I was very serious about having a career in film and I studied film production, editing, and camera work. I learned a lot, but gave it up because of the long hours and the unlikeliness of ever getting a job in the industry.
Still, I love the movies. The last film I saw in theaters was "Guardians of the Galaxy", which I saw at the Niihama Toho cinemas.
If you're interested in learning more about American movies from the past, or just learning about American culture, here's a few classic films you should try to find:
"For a few Dollars More": this is an American western remake of the Akira Jurosawa film "Yojimbo". It stars Clint Eastwood.
"Snatch": This is a British gangster film that's great for people who want to hear different English accents- including a few that even I can't understand.
"Die Hard" : with Christmas on the way, Bruce Willis's big break is sure to be on a lot of minds. It's an action movie that helped define the genre, and it's set during Christmas, so the time is right!
What's your favorite movie?
