In Michigan (and some other states too) there is a fun annual event called the Renaissance Festival. At the festival there are costumes, performers, shops, food, and other events that have a medieval or Elizabethan English theme. Many regular people who go to the festival like to dress up as though they were from the past. When I go to the Renaissance Festival I love to watch the jousting competitions (see the picture). Also, the best food is a very large turkey leg that you can carry around with you. What's your favorite festival?
