Back home in Texas, I grew up with animals. There was never a time in my life, until now, that I didn't have a pet of some sort. My mom has been the causing factor here as she is a veterinary technician, she would always bring home a cute little batch of kittens or a puppy, occasionally she would bring home the odd animal like a goat or squirrel or bird. Growing up with animals has led me to discover that having a pet is a blessing! To have something that relies on your care to survive and that gives you affection in return is amazing!
