I competed in my first surf competition in early August. I was super nervous but I had so much fun and I met a lot of really cool talented people. The contest was in Tokushima. I had to wake up very early to arrive for the start time. I was in the first heat of the day and I did well. I got to compete in the 2nd round! What a great experience. It is one of my favorite days in Japan for sure.
