Since the beginning of time, in any of our religions/beliefs, there has been war. War between countries, kingdoms, states, and even war between siblings, couples, and yourself. We live in a world that has known only war. Some may say that conflict is in our nature, but in truth, it is not. You choose whether to be rude or cross with another person/nation. Jealousy, greed, and lust for power are the things that drive our nations and our people to the point of war. The rich run our nations, while the poor suffer at their hands. People wish for peace, and the leaders of our nations say that peace can be won if we go to war, but it is a never ending cycle that only brings about more destruction and chaos. Our nations are dying, our governments collapsing, and our people suffering, why? So that the rich leaders of our nations can become richer and the poor, poorer? When will the tyranny end? That answer is never, because in reality people will remain greedy, jealous, and lustful for more. There will always be someone who hates someone else. True equality will never be brought about due to the "nature" of humanity. On September (9) 11, 2001, my world was shaken. I had never thought that anything could happen to America, to my home, but I see now that America, as all countries, are susceptible to many things that can be harmful, both internally and externally. I remember everything that happened on 9/11/2001 that I long wished to forget, but now cherish because it is a part of my history. Half of my life has known international war, but my entire life has known war due to internal conflict as well as conflict in my home, and now a new chapter of war is about to be opened due to the anger of man, yet again. I know that this topic has been difficult to read, but I want to charge you a life task.... Live your life to the fullest, happily and at peace, no matter the circumstances. Do not dwell on negative thoughts, look to the future with a smile and take the challenges one at a time.
