Every family has their own traditions. For some, the tradition may be to sit and watch TV or play a game together every evening, for others, to read together. My families tradition is a little more..... unique. In the photograph you will find myself, my mother, father, younger sister, and younger brother. We are all (except for my younger sister) dressed in Civil War attire. My family is a family of re-enactors. Each year we attend many camps and re-enactments that focus on the Civil War and the Revolutionary War. At these events, many schools come out to visit us. We each take on a character, like a stage performance, and act out the time period so that the students visiting learn more about the history of America. This tradition started many years ago, and continues to grow in our family. What are some of your family traditions? I leave you with a few more photographs to look through.

My younger brother and I at the Moonlight Magnolia, Civil War Ball.

A little Texas Pride!

A cute little girl walked up to us and my younger brother leaned down to say hi. It was adorable!
Thank you for looking!
