Mele kalikimaka

I had some really great lunch this weekend. There was some incredibly soft beef and a really fatty hamburger patty as well. It's enough for two people.
The name of the dish is Mele Kalikimaka. Most Americans recognize it as that one song that plays during Christmas.

There's more to the story. When they say "it's a thing to say on a bright Hawaiian Christmas day", it's almost literal. The Hawaiian language doesn't allow someone to say "Merry Christmas" as modern English can.
This video explains why.

He speaks really fast, can you keep up with him?
