A weirdly high class museum (?)
While we were wasting about an hour to buy tickets for the King Arthur musical we decided to look for a place to buy some cosmetics from Coreana that Cami was able to try out at the Coreana museum. I googled mapped Coreana and saw that there was (according to google) a place just down the block from us. So we made our way over there.
We ended up finding this really interesting looking building that was clearly not a cosmetic store. But we entered anyways. And we felt very...poor. Everything inside was high designer items. We went up to the second floor only to be turned back from a sign that said "for members only". We wander around and found some very rich looking shops and decided to leave that building and went into the adjacent building.
Upon entering, we found that it was a pseudo museum as it only had one piece of artwork in it and a large empty space that was under construction. But the weirdest part of it was we kept ending up in a long, large and empty hallway that was very white and felt like we were in a freighter shipping area. We wandered into yet another designer shop where we found a paper weight, pencil sharper, card holding and paper clip magnet set for $100.
It was a unique experience and unexpected and a lot of fun to go somewhere unplanned. Part of us feels like we were wandering around the place without paying because as we left we saw a bunch of people in line buying tickets for something...so maybe we entered from the exit and no one noticed.
