Sugar Cookie Success
Last weekend I made sugar cookies, and not just any kind of sugar cookie, but cut-out Christmas sugar cookies! This is really exciting for me because I have tried to make cut-out sugar cookies in the past, and they never worked out. The cookie would lose it's shape once it baked and would not look like the cut-out shape at all. This time, I did it! I made the dough from scratch, rolled it out, cut out my cookies with a cookie cutter and they turned out great. Next, it was time to decorate. There are some icing tubes available at the supermarket, but they dry up really fast and the taste is not so great, so I made my own icing and used food coloring to give it color. I also used some sprinkles and edible silver sugar for decoration. Here are my Christmas sugar cookies!
