I Need New Books.....

It feels like it's been ages since I last sat down and buried myself in a book for the day! I love to read, and most of the time I do have a book with me, either on my phone or my e-reader if I don't have a physical copy of what I want to read that day, but lately I haven't been able to find anything that is really gripping my attention. Luckily in a couple of weeks there should be a new book in one of my favorite series being released, so once I get a copy of that I think I'll be able to have a reading day! I could use some suggestions though, so I'll have to ask my friends if they've read any good books lately!

Giant Robos

Visiting the Takamatsu Art Museum for the “Giant Robots” exhibition was both nostalgic and enlightening for me. Growing up with iconic series like Mazinger and Macross, seeing the history and concept art of these beloved franchises brought back so many memories. The exhibition offered a fascinating glimpse into the creative process behind these shows, with intricate designs and imaginative worlds that defined my childhood.

One of the most touching moments was reminiscing about watching Mazinger with my younger brother after school. Good times.

However, the biggest surprise was discovering the Kotohira Railway’s Kotoden Giant Robo Sci-Fi campaign. This beautifully bizarre universe, complete with a well-developed backstory and a cast of intriguing characters, captivated my imagination. It’s clear that a lot of thought and creativity went into this project, and I left the museum eager to dive deeper into this unique campaign.
