The hotel in the Colorado hotel was amazing! Inside, there was a hot tub and a pool for small children, but the main pool was the most interesting part. You can't really see it in this picture, but the pool went right through the wall to the outside! You could choose whether you wanted to swim inside or outside, all in the same pool!



This is the part that was outside. The pool was heated, which was good because it was very cold outside! I couldn't swim in the outside part because even though the water was warm, the air was freezing!

The Brandenburg Concertos (BWV 1046-1051)
were written by Bach around 1721. They were
given to the Margrave of Brandenburg as a gift
showing Bach's appreciation for the Margrave's
support. But the Margrave never got the chance
to organize a performance, and it's speculated
that Bach himself never heard the Concertos
performed at all They are one of Bach's most popular works with contemporary listeners. Interesting
note: the original manuscript of the concertos was
nearly lost in WW1 when the building they were
housed in was bombarded. A concerned librarian
was able to rescue the manuscript.
  

I found this set of stickers at the dollar store. There were many fairy tale themed stickers. I thought the faces that the princess and EVERYTHING else was so so funny! They all look so...unsure? Pensive? Whatever the expression is, it's very funny. I found myself laughing aloud in the Seria. Of course I had to buy them!  

This winter the weather has been warm off and on. It is early January and the temperatures are normall very low. The other day in early January the temperture climbed up to 5 or 6 degrees at the base of the mountain. This is not the best because there is a lack of snow and it also destabalizes the snowpack making the avlance risk higher.
