It feels a little nippy outside as I look out my apartment this evening. This will be the last one that I will spend on Shikoku. I will miss many things and many people, but I will not miss the horribly humid heat during the summer. My last two weeks in Japan start tomorrow, and I can't wait to see it!  

Christmas is a special time of year for Americans. It is a time that is spent with family and loved ones, talking, playing games, and enjoying each other's company. One thing we do each year is give gifts. My husband and I give practical and useful gifts. This year I got new glasses for Christmas. What are some things that you need our want for Christmas?
