Have you ever seen a time-lapse video of the Milky-Way? It's absolutely beautiful. A time-lapse is a technique whereby the frequency at which film frames are captured is much lower than that used to view the sequence. When played at normal speed, time appears to be moving faster and thus lapsing.

Many astronomers use this technique to capture amazing videos of space. You can find many of them and they're all very beautiful.
