A special day of the year!
Hello!
I had a special occasion happen to me the other day! Tuesday, February 16 is my birthday! So , I’m now 28 years old, and I’m pretty stoked for the new year!
I had a pretty uneventful birthday, we had to go to the immigration office early in order to process our paperwork for staying another year, which we also completed, so now our residence in Japan in permanent until this time next year as well! We had a great lunch at a Chinese restaurant that I will absolutely be going back to, and then it was time for work! I had a great day of classes, and we were going to go out for a birthday dinner as well, but the restaurant that we had planned to go to after work was closed by the time we got there! It was disappointing, but, we ended up with pizza, which is one of my favourites, so I couldn’t complain.
It was so nice having people wish me a happy birthday, and letting me know that they were thinking about me! I’m very grateful for everyone in my life, and having a birthday is a great way to let the people who I care about know it!
