Many of my favorite snacks are from America. In America we have new snacks coming out pretty often, but they come out with things like "limited time only" or "limited supply" printed on them. We don't have so many seasonal goods coming out, just products with a limited release. Those snack usually go away and never return. In Japan there are many new snacks too that show up briefly and never return, but there are also many seasonal snacks that disappear and reappear each year. For America, crispy M&Ms disappeared for a very long time, something like 10 years, and only came back recently. Japan seems to have had them consistently for a long time though.
