Spring is such a beautiful time in most, if not all, places on the Earth. With the start of new life to the beautiful array of color that is produced by the plants and flowers, it is by far the most beautiful season that we have. One of my favorite flowers in the world is the Texas Bluebonnet.


The Bluebonnet is the state flower of Texas and is very unique in shape and color. Above you see a top side view of the flower. It looks like a star burst or a firework.The Texas Bluebonnet is typically this bluish purple color but can also be red or white on rare occasions. In America, each state has their own flower, tree, plant, bird, and so on. It is based on uniqueness and abundance. What is the prefecture plant, bird, tree, or animal for each prefecture? It would be an interesting thing to learn.
