Sim City

Japan can be considered a gaming mecca. Day in and day out I see everyone from young children to adults playing a game either on their trusty 3DS or their iphone. Gaming has really evolved from the classic platforms many people are familiar with. I too enjoy playing a video game and while I may not have as much time as I used to to play them I still get some time in to play a personal favorite.
The game I enjoy the most are strategy games. Whether I'm building an army, or building a city I find the most enjoyment in these types of games. My favorite is actually the latter; building a city. Not many people I know can relate to me on my love for Sim City, there is no fighting, or story-line, you simply build a city. What this game does give you is the opportunity to have a glimpse in the world of urban planning. Despite being a game there are very intricate challenges that surround it like Managing taxes, funding, infrastructure and doing all that while managing a budget.
But the game isn't without it's random unplanned events, disasters can plague your city too. Like this little fella coming to damage all your hard work!

If you enjoy games and want a different kind of challenge, I suggest playing any city building simulation. Sim City has been around for a long time and the creators have made several iterations of the game. But there are others out there, too!
