My first week in Japan

Japan is soooo different from Texas! My goodness, so many things are so far from what they were back home. Probably the biggest difference from here and home, not including the people, is the terrain. In Texas we have long plains and rolling hills with wide open areas and lots of farm land, here there are beautiful mountains popping up everywhere and very quaint rice fields and vegetable/flower gardens. The weather here is a little like Texas, but it's much cooler here generally and it seems to rain more here. It's amazing here! I do miss the Texas sunset though, it's so stunning almost every night, and the sunrises back home, like the one in the picture attached, will completely bathe the world in golden light. Japan is a beautiful place and if you ever have the opportunity to go to Texas, you will find that Texas is beautiful in a completely different but equally stunning way.
