Family is defined as "a group consisting of parents and children living together in a household", but I feel that it is so much more than that. Family isn't just blood, it is everyone you grow to love. From your mother, to your brother, to your best friend, family can include many people outside of blood relation. Even if you have no blood family, you will always have a family through your friends. I have thought long about life in this sense. If I were to lose all of my money, my possessions, and my job, I would still have everything I need with my family in my life. If I were to lose my family, in any sense, I would be heartbroken and destroyed. Through the people that I meet, of any age, and the family that I gain, I have strength to face my daily struggles and my long term struggles as well. Life is never a fully peaceful thing. There will always be struggles. My family is my everything.
