ネイティブが教える英会話のジェムスクール☆Teachers☆

This week I was very lucky to attend a free Jazz concert in Marugame. Music is one of my favorite things. Though I was not blessed with musical talent or the ability to play a musical instrument very well (for example, I'll never play the piano as beautifully as Ashley, another Gem teacher, does!) but I love listening to and discovering new music! Jazz music is by far my favorite genre. Because I am from "the south" of the United States, many people assume I love country music. I do have a special place in my heart for Bluegrass, but jazz is by far what I enjoy listening to the most. Some of my favorite artists include Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald and John Coltrane. In fact, I think the album "Kind of Blue" by Miles Davis could potentially be the best record of all time, but that's just my opinion. Due to space, I had to leave my record player and record collection at home, but the few rainy days this past weekend would've been perfect days to stay inside and listen to old jazz records.
