Growing up in Germany, I was raised drinking sparkling water. In fact, most of my favorite drinks are carbonated. I am a big fan of sparkling water and prefer it to flat water. I am not sure why. When I moved to Japan, I was disappointed to not see sparkling water at my local supermarket. i found it at import shops, but the price was ridiculous. However, recently my local supermarket has begun selling cheap, large bottles of sparkling water. YA!!!!
