Book to Movie
Have you ever watched something you read come to life? Most of the time movies or TV shows that are made from books aren't usually as good as what you thought from what you read. Lately though I have been pleasantly surprised by a few shows and movies. The TV show Game of Thrones is pretty awesome. The books are very long but you spend time getting to know the characters and the TV show also puts you in the action. The books are based off the series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin. A movie that caught my eye this holiday season was The Hobbit. It is based off the book The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien. This is also a way of teaching English. Movies and books go together when you are trying to understand something that is not written in your language. It is such a challenge to read something that isn't in your native language but it can also be considered the best way to learn the language. Try it out. Find a show that is based off a book and watch the show then read the book. You'll be surprised at how much you can learn.
