Last weekend, Sarah and I drove to the beach Kochi Prefecture. We wanted to go surfing because there were some big waves from the typhoon in Kyushu. On Sunday morning, we left from to Takamatsu and drove to Saijo to borrow our friend's surfboard. Then we drove south through the mountains, past Kochi City to a beach in Kuroshio. The waves were so big that we couldn't surf them! So the next day we drove further south to Ohki Beach and enjoyed the sand for a while. Then we drove all the way back through Tokushima. It was a beautiful ride but five hours long!
