I made a lengthy trip to Kanonji to visit a place called the Gate in the Sky. It was well worth the trip and I saw some unforgettable views. The hike up there was fun but the day was also so very hot! Thank goodness they had vending machine drinks at the top. There was so many stairs too! The place really had to make you work for it but it was so satisfying to make it to the top. I also did some sketching for a bit.
