On my way back home, I bought a box of Yamagata Eijudo kibidango, a specialty from Okayama. I'm always thrilled to discover new seasonal packaging from this company. They never fail to impress me with their clever and playful designs on the box art and wrappers, which often feature traditional cultural stories. I'm a big fan of their visual gimmicks and omake, and I always make it a point to pick up a box or two.
