The Sound of Summer
The unique sound that I hear every morning upon awakening is the beautiful sound of summer - the cicadas are back. Like the cherry blossoms, they return every year at their own unique time lasting for a month or less.
It is now the heart of summer and the time when the cicadas do their thing. More specifically, the male cicadas make this cacophony of sound that blends like a symphonic orchestra, though with all the same instruments - transparent wings.
Enjoy the sound of nature's summer symphony - a great way to the start of the day - before it is over!
