ネイティブが教える英会話のジェムスクール☆Teachers☆

I am so thankful I had the opportunity to work here at Gem school with a wide range of ages learning English. From the little babies to the older adults, it has truly been a wonderful experience. Before I came to Gem, I honestly didn't know if I wanted children or even really liked children. I had little experience with children before coming here as most of my teaching experience had been with adults. This has been the best decision of my life thus far to move to Japan and teach English. Although I don't want to teach English the rest of my life and knew that coming here, it has still given me a new perspective on my life and how I view children.

Now, I absolutely adore children. They really speak to me and help me find the child inside myself that is still there. Working with them has taught me so much, such as more about how our brains function, especially when it comes to language, as well as how to be a more flexible person. Now, I am actually open to the fact of having children of my own, and if it wasn't for this job, I'm not sure if I ever would have developed that.
