New Winter Bedding
Hi Everyone!
Winter is finally here in full swing, and with temperatures dropping below 40 degrees Fahrenheit on a nightly basis, the apartment is getting pretty cold...
Unlike in America, where the heating units are in the floor, the Japanese heating units are on walls near the ceiling, which doesn't make much sense to me because everyone knows that heat rises. Because of this, the lower half of the room doesn't really warm up much even with the heat turned on.
We still had our summer cooling bedding on the bed, and every night has been like crawling into an ice-box; so today, we went to the store and got a warm winter set. The material is fluffy on all sides and even on the pillow cases! I'm very pleased with it and look forward to warm nights of sleep ahead!
