Earlier in the week we had a HUGE typhoon warning! Typhoon Noru was a Category 5 typhoon for a very long time, and I (and many teachers) prepared for a Cat 5 storm. What we ended up getting was just a very windy and rainy day! It was definitely a good thing, as Cat 5 storms are super dangerous, but i have to admit it was a little disappointing compared to some of the other typhoons I've experienced here in Japan. It's almost half-way through August, so I guess typhoon season is almost here. I better make sure I have everything prepared just in case!
