Out of Shape

Recently, I went for a walk around Kawanoe Castle. Well, I say a walk but it was really more of a hike. Maybe for some people it wouldn’t have felt too difficult but I was tired when I reached the top. There’s a phrase we can use to describe this. It’s, “out of shape.” What does, “out of shape” mean? Well, it’s a way to say someone needs to exercise more! I had an ankle injury and couldn’t walk very much for months so of course, my body is weak and I am, “out of shape.” But, even though I was tired I still had a good time at the castle. The view from the top was stunning and the castle grounds were nice too. They’re obviously not hundreds of years old, but they’re still cool to visit. And getting there is great exercise!

It came from Jupiter

I

Incredible looking, right?
My mother grows this plant back in the states, too. When I was a kid, I called it space lettuce and it always made her laugh. She brought it up even when I was in high school. How embarrassing >_<

I do miss certain plants. My friend doesn't understand why I get excited whenever I find a cactus when we go on walks. They're just so cool, right? I can't be the only one. When you move, you'll probably miss something irrational too. Maybe it will be something as little a kind of flower, a combini snack, or even the sound of trains.

I live really close to a train station here. I wonder if I'll miss it later in life.

Are you remembering anything from your childhood, sight, smell, or sound? Tell me about it when you see me.
