I recently saw this poster in a doctor's office. Can you tell what it is? It's a poster highlighting several Japanese words in Sanuki-ben! There are even intonations for pronouncing the words correctly. It's pretty neat.

I have been told that only old people really like to use Sanuki-ben, but I have been approached by old ladies and men a few times this month, so I think it might be fun to use a little bit of Sanuki-ben.

I used to try to learn words in Osaka-ben when I went to Kansai Gaidai. I even bought a book about it! I don't remember so many of the words now though. Did you know that there's an anime called Lovely Complex, where almost everyone speaks in Osaka-ben? It's really great!
