My students love to draw pictures of me. Over the time I've been here I have gotten many pictures of me from my students. I love to see them. This one is from some students in our Yashima school. Sometimes they take my markers and draw on the board. I always try to get a picture of the ones they draw on the board. Take a look at it, I love it.

  

Music is a big part of my life. I love listening to all sorts of music. It is great for motivation, relaxing, ambient noise, or just as a soundtrack to everyday activities. I also like to play music. This weekend I was at a second hand store and found a guitar! I’m not very good at playing, but hopefully I can practice a little more and perfect my skills. Japan has interesting music as well. There seems to be a niche for just about every genre. One of the things I hope to do while in Japan is to learn about their music. What is K-pop anyways? I think that when you explore different music it’s important to give everything a chance. You never know what you might like!
