Magic

I love playing board games and card games. Recently I learned how to play a new game called Magic the Gathering. It's a very popular card game all over the world. I play with English cards but they also print them in Spanish, Russian, Japanese and other languages too! It's really fun to play with friends, but unfortunately it can also be expensive. It can also be addicting because there are thousands of cards and each time you open a new pack you have a chance to find a very rare one. Are there any games you're addicted to?

Fun things about Japan

One of the most interesting things about Japan is not just national pride but prefecture pride as well. I've discovered that every prefecture has its own mascot. Cool huh? Before coming to Kagawa I was living it up in Ishikawa and their mascot there is a girl named "Ishikawa-San" In Kanazawa city they even have a cafe dedicated to her called "Ishikawa Cafe" which sells merchandise of Ishikawa-San. They have her face on everything from pillows to lunchboxes.

Upon arriving to Kagawa I thought "I wonder what Kagawa's mascot is?" As people may already know; Kagawa is famous for Udon and it came to no surprise that the mascot for Kagawa would have some relation to Udon. Behold Udon NoU! The funny looking mascot with his mind (literally) on Udon. I'm thinking that when I visit other prefectures I may buy a souvenir of their mascot and collect them. Chronicle each prefecture I visit with a purchase of their beloved mascot.
