I finally went drifting!
Last weekend I made it out to setonaikai circuit. This is something I've done before, of course, but this time was a bit different.
I actually drove!
It was my first time on a track since I came to Japan, and it felt great. I've been working towards this since I got here, and it was the culmination of a long time dream of mine. I've been wanting to drift in Japan since I was 19 years old. I knew the names of Japanese drivers and circuits before I knew the names of famous American drivers of the time (though there weren't any really famous American drifters then).
It was awesome!
