Halloween in University
Hello!
Last week, I spoke a little about what Halloween was like for me as a child, so this week, I want to talk a bit about what it was like as a high school and university student. Some people that I went to school with thought that any age is a good age to go trick or treating for candy, but I was tired of it about the time I got to high school, so most of the time on Halloween, I would stay at home and give out candy to the children who would come to our house. This tradition continued into my university days living with some friends, but the weekend before, we would have a big costume party at our house, and invite friends and co-workers to come in their Halloween outfits and have a good time. So for me, not only is Halloween a traditional time to get candy and go trick or treating, but like most holidays, it's a time to get together with friends and celebrate being alive and have a good time for a night. There is one more tradition on Halloween that I'll touch on next week, but for this week, what are some of the events or traditions that you celebrate that allow you to get together with friends and family and have a fun time?
Have a great week!
