On Tuesday there was a typhoon passing through Shikoku, and it was really stormy! It was really nice, listening to all the rain, but I did something really silly. I was walking to my room to get something and I wasn't paying attention and slammed my baby toe into the door frame! It was late at night, and it wasn't great weather so I just went to bed. The next day my toe was twice its normal size! I spent two days just kind of hopping around and yesterday I went to a hospital. In Canada for a broken baby toe they tell you to just be careful. I thought it would be the same, but it wasn't! They gave me an x-ray, and even showed me the x-ray. Then the doctor gave me a splint ( a long, strong piece of metal to help keep an injury straight), a medicine patch, and a bandage wrap to help hold the splint in place. Walking is much, much easier now.
