Weekend times!
Hello!
Today, I want to talk a little bit about what I did on the weekend! It was quite a quiet one, which has been different from the last couple weekends off of work. There have been lots of events and activities that have been happening, that there has been little time to just relax and enjoy doing nothing.
On Saturday, we spent a really pleasant evening at Sushiro, which is a restaurant of the conveyor belt type. This means that that there are literally conveyor belts constantly bringing sushi around for people to take off and eat as they see fit. There is a set price for each plate of the sushi, and you can eat as much as you like. It is the second time that we've been able to experience this type of restaurant in Japan (the first being when we were visiting Osaka), and it was so good. The food was delicious, and we had a really nice time.
Sunday was even more low-key! We had a lazy morning, followed by an afternoon of preparation for Summer Tour coming up, and I took a trip to the store in Mitoyo where I have taken to playing Magic:The Gathering. There was a mini-tournament there happening today in preparation for the new set of cards coming out this week, so it was a unique opportunity to play with brand new cards before they're released to be sold. It was a ton of fun, and even though all the cards were in Japanese, it was a great experience for learning the new set coming out!
This week, and the weeks coming up are going to be crazy busy, and I'm absolutely looking forward to it!
