Past days

For some reason this week I have been reminded many times of home. Everything from sitting and chatting with my mom to having coffee with my grandma an her porch in the rain. So many memories have struck me this week and it has left me a little melancholy. I think I am at one of those times when you just miss home. I miss quite a few things, although I still am in love with Japan, let me tell you about some of the things I miss from home. I miss waking up to feed the animals and watching the sun rise, it's like watching color explode from the horizon. I miss talking to my mom early in the mornings and her sometimes bringing me coffee. I miss talking to my dad about God and the Bible and being spurred by him to read it more. I miss hanging out with my little brother, trying to figure out some project or other. I miss my families pets. Now, having said that I miss all of this I have to tell you that it's okay to miss things, to miss people and places. That's natural, it's a required part of growing. I love growing here in Japan, everything is so amazing! I am always surprised by things that happen here and it makes me so happy! All in all I guess what I want to say to you today is cherish what you have now while you have it because one day it may be gone.
