ネイティブが教える英会話のジェムスクール☆Teachers☆

This Sunday I had to opportunity to go to Kotohiki Park with Alex, Taylor, Katie, and Jay! We had a lovely picnic under the sakura trees, and then a great walk to Kanonji temple. We had a really wonderful time!



First we had a picnic under the sakura trees, some lovely high school girls came over to talk to us, so we invited them to sit down. It was so much fun to meet them, they were the first of many friendly strangers. There was a group of people singing Karaoke on the stage and they let us join them! One of the women who was participating in the event came over and gave me a cookie when it looked like I wouldn't be able to sing. It was so kind, I was really touched.
Then we decided to go to Kanonji temple. When we first arrived there was a beautiful black cat sitting on the steps. It was so amazing! We were all so happy to see it.



Then we climbed the steps to see everything else, I was very happy to be able to see the temple, and the giant sand coin! I really want to learn more about Japanese temples, it was such a peaceful place to visit. I really enjoyed it.
On our way out of the park a lady came across the street to share some sushi with us! When she saw how much we liked it she brought over more. It was really amazing, we met so many wonderful and generous people.




It was such a beautiful place to visit, I hope I can go back there again soon!
