Angkor Wat, Siem Reap, Cambodia
Angkor Wat, the largest religious temple in the world owned by the Kingdom of Cambodia. I am fortunate enough to be able to see Angkor Wat with my own eyes and to really understand and grasp why the Cambodian people have helped preserved this temple. Also, to see why the Cambodian people hold this temple so close to their hearts.
This trip alone was very emotional for me because of where my lineage comes from. I am proud to say that I am an Cambodian American and to truly embrace where my lineage and where my parents come from. Here is a picture that is jaw dropping close to sunrise.

Still, a picture does not give it justice to actually standing there mesmerized in the absolute beauty of thousands of years preservation.
