Hi everyone,

I wanted to share to everyone one of my epic experiences in Sagada, Philippines. Sagada is located up Northeast of the nation's capital of Manila. Though Sagada is a small town in itself, it has been recorded in 2012 that Sagada is the safest city in all of the Philippines. I have read that Sagada has one of the most beautiful scenic views up at the tallest mountain known as "Kiltepan Peak."



After speaking with countless locals in town, it is said that the best time to go is during sunrise where the clouds hover beneath the tip of all the mountains and you can see the rice terraces below the mountains. I woke up early 4 A.M. in the morning to make sure I did not miss it and luckily I did not.



Many visitors that travel through the Philippines often go to other places such as Boracay, Cebu, and all the other thousands islands. I found that hiking through the mountains such as Sagada, was most appealing and rewarding experiences in itself.
