Cambodia, Kep

Hi my name is Daniel and I wanted to share with everyone my experiences in Kep, Cambodia. Kep is a small province in Kampot, located East of the capital, Phnom Penh. What intrigued me the most about this small town was the simplicity of how everyone lived; the beautiful sunny beaches, the delicious food, and the wonderful people.
During my one week stay in Kep, I spent most of my time on the beach in a hammock. I would be either listening to my favorite music or reading a novel as time went by. What made this week so memorable was the Cambodian people. All were so friendly and always there to show you around town. Even better was one person I met who offered to let me borrow his motorcycle for the day so I could look for an ATM. On top of that was the Cambodian food. The best way I can describe it is a fusion between Thai and Chinese food; all were relatively inexpensive.
Ultimately, my time in Kep was an experience I would never forget. Two years has passed and I can honestly say that if there was a place I would visit again in Cambodia, it would be Kep for the gorgeous beach during sunrise and sunset, the inexpensive delicious food, and the amazing people there who was just as intrigued as I was about each other's cultures and where we came from.
