I have always been an animal lover. From Dogs, to cats, to lizards and snakes. My all time favorite animal would have to be the snake. I grew up having pets of all kinds, but I was always most fond of the snakes. This past week I had the opportunity to visit the Yashima Aquarium for the first time. It is a small Aquarium, but it is a fun one. I enjoyed a Dolphin show and saw many species of fish and other animals. One of my favorite sights had to be the Manatees. There are only six Manatees located in Japan, two of which are at the Yashima Aquarium. I think that is amazing. I have always been fond of Manatees due to the fact that they are so different. They are known in many countries as "Mermaids" or as "Sea Cows". I have always been fascinated by these creatures that roam the sea. What do you think of these mystical "Mermaids" that roam our oceans?
