I took this picture in India. This is a very normal and frequent occurrence. I fear for the children. I often find myself irritated when I’m driving in Japan because I see children jumping around in the vehicles around me. Why are they not sitting down in their seats with their seat belt fastened?! It’s so incredibly dangerous!! Why don’t the Japanese police make an effort to enforce the seatbelt laws? I have been pulled over and received a warning because my friend had his hand out the window on a nice weather day. Why are the police more concerned about a hand out the window than the possibility of a child flying head- first out the window??? Also, why is it okay to watch tv while you drive but not okay to talk on the telephone while you drive? They are both equally dangerous. Oh Japan, I love you but please be more careful! BUCKLE UP YOUR KIDS PLEASE!!!
